![]() ![]() The LTI integration sends over information about the user, such as identifying them as the host, their name, etc. That would seem to indicate that it should be possible for the Host to also have access to the Virtual Backgrounds in the Desktop Client regardless of being logged in, because when Starting via a Web Browser there is no additional logging in to their school account, the LTI integration handles all authentication, etc. If the Host starts the meeting using a Web Browser (Join from Browser) instead of the Desktop Client, then the Virtual Backgrounds are always available to them. When hosting a meeting using the Zoom Desktop Client, if the Host is not logged in to their school account in the Zoom Desktop Client, the Host does not have access to the virtual backgrounds that are loaded to the school account. Select Settings, and ensure the virtual background option is turned on. To add your new background to Zoom, simply sign in to Zoom Desktop Client. To do that, from your meeting screens bottom-right corner, choose 'More.' In the menu that launches, select 'Background & Effects.' From the 'Virtual Backgrounds' section, choose 'Blur. Easily integrate your background with Zoom. ![]() This is a higher-ed situation, using an LTI integration. In Zooms mobile app, you can only blur your background when youre in a meeting. Go to Settings of your Zoom desktop app and click on the Virtual Background tab to use the existing images or upload and add your image files.
